Beginner Program
The main goal of the Beginner program courses is to excite children about chess and build a life-long love for the game. The emphasis will be to provide children with knowledge of all the rules of chess which will allow them to enjoy playing independently. Children will start reaping all of the developmental benefits that come with playing chess, setting them up for success in the classroom and in all other extra-curricular activities!
Intermediate Program
At this point, children are full equipped to play chess and the central focus of the Intermediate level courses is to begin introducing them to the beauty and complexity of the game. Children will gain insight into fundamental theoretical knowledge and start developing the ability to think several moves ahead. This is truly the point where key attributes such as focus and concentration, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking skills, pattern recognition and many others will be developed!
Advanced Program
Here key technical, tactical, and strategic elements will be explored, allowing children to take their game to the next level. The comprehensive nature of the Advanced courses will develop the all the skills and mentality required to succeed at the chess board and far beyond!
